Kasargod’s Wintouch Hospital Becomes Super-Specialty Center; IVF and Advanced Care Units Launched

Kasargod: Wintouch Multi-Specialty Hospital has elevated its status to a super-specialty facility within just a year, marking a significant milestone in healthcare for Kasargod. The transformation includes the launch of four advanced treatment facilities, including the district’s first IVF and genetic testing center. The official inauguration is scheduled for December 4.

New Facilities to Be Launched
The state-of-the-art MRI and CT scan units will be inaugurated by Sayyid Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal at 4 PM. Alongside, the Stroke Screening Center will be unveiled by Swami Sachidananda Bharati of Edaneer Math, while Father Mathew Baby will inaugurate the semi-robotic neuro-ortho rehabilitation unit. Actress Shwetha Menon will dedicate the IVF-genetic testing center, a first for the district.

Healthcare Packages Announced
In celebration of its first anniversary, the hospital has introduced nine comprehensive healthcare packages spanning General Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, Dermatology, and Lab services. These packages are being offered at discounted rates to make healthcare accessible to all.

Addressing a Critical Need
Hospital Chairman Abdul Latheef Uppala Gate emphasized that the establishment of the facility was inspired by the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. “The lack of advanced medical infrastructure in Kasargod became apparent during the pandemic, which spurred us to act. Today, we are proud to provide world-class medical services,” he said.

The hospital, completed in three years, now stands as a beacon of affordable healthcare with a team of over 60 expert doctors and a dedicated nursing staff.
