30 Days of Morning Exercise: Celebrated by Mogral MEC-7 Health Club

Mogral: “Morning exercise is the best treatment for preventing lifestyle diseases,” stated expert neurologist Dr. Mohammed Shameem Kattathadukka. He was addressing the audience during the inauguration of a health awareness program hosted by the Mogral MEC-7 Health Club to commemorate 30 days of morning exercise.

Dr. Mohammed Shameem emphasized that while medicines manage symptoms, exercise is vital in preventing diseases, especially in today’s sedentary lifestyles. He lauded the MEC-7 Health Club for fostering a culture of fitness in Mogral and discussed the alarming rise in stroke-related illnesses, alongside available treatments.

The MEC-7 system, short for “Multi Exercise Combination,” was developed by ex-military fitness expert Mr. Salahudden. This innovative fitness regimen combines a variety of exercise techniques to enhance overall health and well-being. Today, over 600 MEC-7 units are operational across Kerala and the GCC, promoting a fitness revolution in communities worldwide.

The event began with a welcome address by Coordinator M. Mahin. Distinguished guests, including Kumbala Grama Panchayat Vice President Nasar Mogral and Block Panchayat Standing Committee Chairman Ashraf Karla, graced the occasion.

Attendees included P. Mohammed Nisar Perwad, Abdullakunhi Khanna, and T.K. Anwar. Sessions were led by skilled MEC-7 trainers T.K. Jafar, K. Mohammed Kunhi Nangi, M.A. Abu Bakkar Siddique, Shareef Deenar, and P.M. Mohammed Kunhi Tiles. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Coordinator Riyas Kareem.

The event highlighted the pivotal role of morning exercise as a preventive healthcare measure and underscored the significance of community-driven fitness initiatives like MEC-7 in building healthier societies.
