Nafeesa Kunnil, First Student of GHSS Mogral Puthur, Honored at ‘Ormakkut’ Reunion

Kasaragod -In a heartwarming ceremony, Nafeesa Kunnil, the first student to be admitted to the Government Higher Secondary School Mogral Puthur in 1943, was honored by the 10th C Batch of the 1999-2000 SSLC cohort. The event took place during their reunion program, “Ormakkut” held on June 30, 2024, at GHSS Mogral Puthur.

The celebration highlighted the school’s rich history and the significant milestones it has achieved over the years. Nafeesa Kunnil’s recognition served as a poignant reminder of the school’s long-standing commitment to education and community building.

“Ormakkut” brought together former students and teachers, providing an opportunity to reconnect and reminisce about their shared experiences. The honored guest, Nafeesa Kunnil, was celebrated for her pioneering role and enduring legacy in the school’s history.

The event underscored the deep bonds and sense of belonging that GHSS Mogral Puthur fosters among its students, past and present.

Khaleel Puthur welcomed everyone to the program, which was presided over by Anwar Kadavath. The program was inaugurated by Principal Beena C.T. The event featured speeches by Ullas Babu, Ravindran Master, Hameed Master, Rajesh Master, and Usha Teacher. Complimentary speeches were given by current and former PTA presidents, as well as teachers. The vote of thanks was delivered by Sajir Kambar.
