Kasaragod Pravasi Forum – Jeddah Organizes ‘Heritage Walk’ to Explore Historical Jeddah
Kasaragod Pravasi Forum – Jeddah recently organized a captivating journey into the rich history of Jeddah with their event titled ‘Heritage Walk’. This expedition took participants through the iconic Historical Jeddah area in Balad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcasing its cultural treasures.
Led by KM Irshad, the excursion unveiled the architectural splendors of old houses, museums like Shafih Masjid and Mimar Masjid, as well as the historical Haj routes. Among the prominent landmarks visited was the renowned Naseef House, along with various other significant heritage monuments in Balad.
Adding prestige to the event, renowned travel motorcycle rider Haroon Rafiq graced the occasion as the chief guest, inspiring enthusiasts with his adventurous spirit and love for exploration. His presence elevated the experience, underscoring the importance of preserving and celebrating cultural heritage.

The expedition was led by a dedicated team comprising CH Basheer, Ibrahim Shemnad, Yaseen Chithari, Gafoor Bedira, Basheer Bayar, Salam Bendichal, Rafeeq, Nafih Chemnad, whose passion for history and culture guided participants through the labyrinth of Balad’s streets, unraveling its mysteries and treasures.
