Qatar Malik Deenar College Alumni Association Organizes Alumni Gathering and MDCPians Cricket Premier League
Doha: The Malik Deenar College of Pharmacy Alumni Association – Qatar (Qatar MDCPians) successfully organized its Alumni Gathering along with the Qatar MDCPians Cricket Premier League 2026, bringing together alumni and their families for a vibrant day filled with sports, entertainment, and fellowship.
The cricket tournament, held at Pearling International School Ground, Al Gharafa, concluded with Dose Devils emerging as the champions after defeating Pharma Kinetics in a thrilling and closely contested final. The match was marked by high intensity, excellent performances, and commendable sportsmanship, providing an exciting experience for the spectators.
Abdul Rahiman Eriyal was adjudged Man of the Match for his outstanding performance in the final, while Jassir Mangad was awarded the Player of the Tournament for his consistent and impactful contributions throughout the competition.
The tournament featured four competitive teams—Pharma Super Kings, Pharma Warriors, Dose Devils, and Pharma Kinetics. From the league stage to the final, all matches reflected strong teamwork, competitive spirit, and quality cricket. The enthusiastic participation of MDCPians members played a key role in the success of the event.
The matches were officiated by Sherif Meppuri and Naveen Christyphor, whose efforts ensured smooth conduct of the tournament. Trophies and medals were presented to the winners, runners-up, and individual awardees during the closing ceremony.
Alongside the sporting action, the event also featured a variety of cultural programs, fun games, and entertainment activities for families and children, making it a complete community celebration. The gathering witnessed active participation from MDCPians members and their families across Qatar, further strengthening bonds of friendship, unity, and alumni spirit.
The event was successfully coordinated under the leadership of Arif Bambron, Hanif Peral, Abdul Rahiman Eriyal, Shamnad Kallar, Ashraf Nellikunnu, Shanavas Betriya, Ajmal Roshan, Sulaiman Askar, Haseeb, Uzair Mohammed, Noufal, Jassir Mangad, and Riyas.
