Eisar Foundation Distributes Assistive Devices to the Physically Challenged Under ‘Sahayastham’ Initiative

In a heartening gesture of compassion and social responsibility, the Eisar Foundation organized an Assistive Device Distribution Programme under the initiative titled ‘Sahayastham’ at Mogral Puthur on May 16, 2025. The event focused primarily on the distribution of well-equipped wheelchairs to physically challenged individuals in need, aiming to empower them with greater mobility and independence.
The event was inaugurated by Muneer Haji, Chairman of PTH Kasaragod, who emphasized the importance of inclusivity and community support for people with disabilities. The distribution of the assistive devices was carried out by Ameer from Bangalore, contributing to the Foundation’s mission of reaching the underserved.
Wazi Puthur, Project Coordinator of Eisar Foundation, delivered the welcome address, setting a warm and optimistic tone for the day’s proceedings. The presidential address was delivered by Dr. Shanil Mohammed, Founder and Managing Trustee of the Foundation, who shared insights into the Foundation’s long-term vision for enhancing accessibility and dignity for the differently-abled.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Nisha, Co-founder and Executive Director of Eisar Foundation, acknowledging all supporters and stakeholders for their continued dedication to social betterment.
The event also witnessed the presence of several esteemed guests including Mahmood Adspot, Mahin Kunnil, KM Irshad, Moosa Basith, Jabir Kunnil, and Rajesh Kootapana, District President of AKWRF Kasaragod, who extended their solidarity with the cause.
As a follow-up to the distribution drive, the Eisar Foundation announced plans for a dedicated wheelchair support drive to reach even more beneficiaries in the coming months, reaffirming their commitment to building an inclusive society.
