Rising Football Star Mirhana Iqbal Receives ReGen Champion Scholarship

Promising young footballer Mirhana Iqbal, hailing from Mogral Puthur, has been awarded the prestigious ReGen Champion Scholarship in recognition of her exceptional achievements and dedication in the field of sports.
A Kerala state women’s football player, Mirhana is currently attending the National Under-16 Football Camp underway in Hyderabad, jointly organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and FIFA. Her consistent performance and passion for the game have earned her this well-deserved honor.
The scholarship, instituted by ReGen, aims to identify and empower young champions who demonstrate excellence, discipline, and determination in their chosen fields. It serves as both financial support and a motivational platform to encourage youth participation in sports across the state.
At a brief function held in Mogral Puthur, Mirhana’s father, Iqbal, received the scholarship amount on her behalf.
The event was graced by Shihab K J, Mahin Kunnil, K.M. Irshad, Jabir Kunnil, Waseem Puthur, Moosa Basith, Arshad Puthur, Altaf D.P., Shadeed Kadavath, Ashraf K.B., Shafiq Peebees, Jamsheer Kadavath, Junaid Kumbar, and Muhammed Kunhi, who congratulated Mirhana for her remarkable success and conveyed their best wishes for her sporting journey ahead.
