Sahayastham-2025: 48 Wheelchairs Distributed by Eisar and Najeeb & Mujeeb Foundations Across Kasaragod and Kannur
Part of a 100-wheelchair distribution drive, the initiative aims to empower the differently-abled with mobility and dignity
Kasaragod/Kannur, October 15: In a commendable act of social responsibility, the Eisar Foundation and the Najeeb & Mujeeb Foundation jointly distributed 48 wheelchairs to underprivileged individuals in Kasaragod and Kannur districts as part of their ongoing project, Sahayastham 2025. The initiative, which targets the distribution of 100 wheelchairs across Kerala, was launched with the goal of improving the quality of life and mobility of the differently-abled.
Grand Inauguration in Kasaragod
The Kasaragod leg of the programme was held at Taj Bekal Resort and Spa, with Rajmohan Unnithan, Member of Parliament, inaugurating the event. He lauded the efforts of both foundations for their humanitarian vision and grassroots impact.
Also present at the event were notable personalities including Mujeeb Kambar, Dr. Mohamed Shanil, Dr. Aboobacker, Waseem Puthur, Dinesh Varma, Khaleel Master, KM Irshad, Moosa Basith, Adv. Jawad Puthur, Iqbal CH, and Najmunnisa.
A poignant moment marked the occasion when the mother of Najeeb and Mujeeb personally handed over the wheelchairs to beneficiaries, highlighting the deeply personal connection and empathy behind the project.
Distribution Drive at Kannur’s Inspire Centre
In Kannur, the distribution programme took place at Inspire, Pilathara, where the dedicated teams of Inspire, Eisar Foundation, and Najeeb & Mujeeb Foundation came together to ensure smooth facilitation of the wheelchair distribution.
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of local volunteers, social workers, and community leaders, who emphasized the need for more inclusive support systems for persons with disabilities.
A Step Towards Accessibility and Inclusion
Sahayastham 2025 stands as a symbol of inclusive development, aiming to bridge the mobility gap faced by many differently-abled individuals in Kerala. By providing 100 wheelchairs free of cost, the initiative not only restores physical mobility but also reinforces dignity and independence.
Both the Eisar Foundation and the Najeeb & Mujeeb Foundation reiterated their commitment to continue such impactful programmes in health, education, and social upliftment, with plans to expand the reach of Sahayastham to more districts in the coming months
